Come and hear why Ralph Vaughan Williams is known as one of England’s greatest composers, a master with a uniquely English voice. Our concerts on June 8 and 9 celebrate both Vaughan Williams’ sacred and secular work, including his Mass in G Minor and numerous arrangements of British folk songs, some of which he collected in the early 20th century. The Chorale will also perform pieces by composers who inspired or influenced Vaughan Williams, such as Bull, Byrd, Gibbons, Parry and Purcell.

The concerts will be performed Saturday, June 8, 2013, 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 9, at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 123 High Street in Santa Cruz. Tickets are available at santacruzchorale.org, at the door, or by calling (831) 427-8023. Ticket prices are: General, $23; Seniors, $19; and Students, $5.
