We’d like to send a big thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas concerts, including our loyal season ticket holders! The concerts were well attended, and many people told us how much they enjoyed hearing the joyful and diverse program of music from around the world. Your support enables the Chorale to meet costs for future concerts, and we appreciate it very much.
Our next concert is on Sunday, March 17, so be sure to mark your calendars now! We’ll join guest artists the San Jose State University Choraliers with Director Jeffrey Benson for an exciting afternoon program featuring music from William Byrd, Debussy, Samuel Barber and others.
If you love the music of English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, you won’t want to miss our season finale concerts on June 8 and 9. The Chorale will perform Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor, as well as several of his motets and folk songs. We’ll also perform music from composers who inspired him, including Byrd, Gibbons and Parry.
